TRADING HALT
The securities of Emerald Resources NL (the “Company”) will be placed in Trading Halt Session State at the request of the Company, pending the release of an announcement by the Company. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in Trading Halt Session State until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Tuesday, 2 May 2017, or when the announcement is released to the market.

REQUEST FOR TRADING HALT
Emerald Resources NL (ASX: EMR) (‘Emerald’) requests that a trading halt be placed on the Company's securities effective immediately pending the release of an announcement on the Definitive Feasibility Study for the development of the 100% owned Okvau Gold Project in Cambodia along with a maiden JORC Reserve estimate.
The Company requests the securities remain in a trading halt until the earlier of the announcement to the market or the commencement of trade on Tuesday, 2 May 2017.
The Company is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted.
