DRILLING UPDATE - GREENBUSH PROJECT
Emerald Oil & Gas NL hereby provides an update on drilling operations at the Greenbush Project.

Progress report on the Egeberg $#1$ well as at 6.00pm 28 May 2007 (Central USA time).
6,079 feet (Total Depth). Current Depth:
- Current Activity: Tripping out of hole with core barrel after cutting a 60 foot core in primary objective Kisbey sandstone to evaluate oil shows encountered in top five feet of sand from 6,014 to 6,019 feet while drilling. Top Kisbey sand at 6,014 feet (-4,100 feet sub-sea) is 26 feet structurally high to nearby Scottsdale #44-10 well, approximately one mile to the west. An oil show in the overlying Bluell carbonates from 5,895 to 5,905 feet will be evaluated from wireline logs.
- Forward Activity: Run a drill stem test across the Kisbey sandstone from 6,014 to total depth.
Emerald Interest: Emerald has a 15% WI (after casing point) in this prospect.
