DRILLING UPDATE - GREENBUSH PROJECT
Emerald Oil & Gas NL hereby provides an update on drilling operations at the Greenbush Project.
GREENBUSH PROJECT, EGEBERG #1 WELL WARD COUNTY, NORTH DAKOTA, USA

Progress report on the Egeberg $#1$ well as at 5.00pm 30 May 2007 (Central USA time).
- 6,081 feet (Corrected Depth). Current Depth:
- Current Activity: Pulling DST tools out of hole. Cut a 61 foot core from 6,020 to 6,081 feet (Kisbey sandstone) with full recovery. Core sent to a nearby laboratory for analysis. Ran DST#1 over interval 6,008 to 6,081 (Kisbey sandstone). DST#1 was a misrun due to loss of mud.
- Forward Activity: Ream 6 1/4 inch rat hole to 8 5/8 inch (6,020 to 6,081 feet) and prepare to drill ahead to proposed new total depth of 6,200 feet and run wireline logs. Lower Kisbey and Glenburn targets will be evaluated in this interval.
- Emerald Interest: Emerald has a 15% WI (after casing point) in this prospect.
