DRILLING UPDATE - EGEBERG#1 WELL
Emerald Oil & Gas NL hereby provides an update on drilling operations at the Greenbush Project.
GREENBUSH PROJECT, EGEBERG #1 WELL WARD COUNTY, NORTH DAKOTA, USA
(Emerald 15% Working interest, Operator: Golden Eye Resources LLC)
Progress report on the Egeberg #1 well as at 7.30pm 30 May 2007 (Central USA time).
Current Depth: 6,081 feet (Corrected Depth).
The Operator Golden Eye Resources LLC has Current Activity: reported that the DST tool has become differentially stuck when pulling it out of the hole. Currently attempting to retrieve the DST tool prior to drill deeper to approximately 6200 feet to test the lower Kisbey and Glenburn seismic amplitude anomalies.
Core analysis and petrophysics indicate that the 61 foot Kisbey sand interval had a number of oil shows but is water bearing.
Forward Activity: Following retrieval of DST tools, drill ahead to proposed new total depth of 6,200 feet and run wireline logs.
An oil show at a higher zone in the Bluell carbonate from 5,895 to 5,905 feet will be assessed from wireline logs.

Emerald has a 15% WI (after casing point) in this prospect.
