TAKEOVER OFFER FOR RENAISSANCE MINERALS LIMITED – 90% THRESHOLD ACHIEVED
Emerald Resources NL (ACN 009 795 046) ( Emerald ) is pleased to announce that, as at 23 September 2016, it has acquired a relevant interest in 90.37% of the fully paid ordinary shares in Renaissance Minerals Limited (ACN 141 196 545) ( Renaissance ).
As a result, Emerald can now proceed to compulsorily acquire any Renaissance shares not accepted into Emerald’s off-market takeover bid ( Offer ).
Emerald expects to send compulsory acquisition notices during the week commencing 26 September 2016.
The Offer was scheduled to close at 5:00pm (WST) on 26 September 2016. Emerald has today extended the closing date of the Offer to 5:00pm (WST) on 30 September 2016 .
Emerald encourages all Renaissance shareholders who have not accepted the Offer to immediately do so.
