RENAISSANCE OFFER CLOSED
Emerald Resources NL (ACN 009 795 046) ( Emerald ) has now closed its Offer for Renaissance Minerals Limited ( Renaissance ). The Offer period ended at 5:00pm (WST) on 30 September 2016.
As at 30 September 2016, Emerald had received acceptances of 494,030,139 Renaissance shares, which when added to the Renaissance shares currently held by Emerald, results in Emerald having a relevant interest in 96.00% of all Renaissance shares on issue. The final number of acceptances is subject to confirmation following the finalisation of outstanding CHESS messages (if any). Accepting shareholders will have their Emerald shares allotted to them on 5 October 2016.
As announced on 28 September 2016, Emerald is proceeding with the compulsory acquisition of the remaining Renaissance shares on issue.
Information regarding the compulsory acquisition of Renaissance shares (including the requisite compulsory acquisition notice) will be dispatched to those Renaissance shareholders who did not accept Emerald’s Offer shortly.
