Notice of Acquisition

Embelton Limited has entered into an agreement to acquire the flooring contracts business operated by Modern Commercial Floor Coverings in Queensland, Australia.

The transaction will be funded from existing facilities and is expected to be earnings accretive in the current year.

The move will facilitate a more direct participation by Embelton in major construction works enabling the Company to work more productively with Australia’s larger building contractors.

The Embelton Group has no plan to be involved in the installation of floor coverings for small construction and renovation projects, this being an area already well serviced by the Company’s retail flooring customers.
