BUSINESS STANDARD - FACULTY LEARNING PROGRAMME

Passion with compassion. This was the N. Jayasankaran. He elaborated on the message Prof. Dr N. Jayasankaran, an factors that influence online teaching, the eminent academician and expert in management education gave to the faculty from various institutions across India who had attended the Business Standard 'Faculty Learning Programme (FLP)' webinar series on 19th May.

Speaking on the topic 'Designing a Digital Pedagogy for Online Classes.

Prof. Dr N. Jayasankaran, Advisor to VIT, Chinmaya Vishwa Vidyapeeth and Rajagiri Vidyapeeth and former Director-General of Bharathidasan Institute of Management dealt in detail on how the faculty can make the online teaching methodology interesting and informative and also how the students can be engaged. His presentation offered useful tips and guidance on how to offer a better learning experience to the student, how to engage them, communicate effectively, assessment methods, course content, etc

Virtual classrooms have opened up new avenues and challenges and many inquisitive questions were asked to Prof. Dr

• 1. Exceptional items amounting to ₹ 684.85 lakhs relates to the agreed amounts of unconditional waiver/ concession of fixed clinical establishment fees for the year ended 31 March 2021 received from Fortis Health Management Limited. The waiver/ concession has been provided on account of COVID 19 Pandemic. In accounting for this waiver/ concession, the Company has applied the practical expedient to such concessions as they meet the conditions specified in the notification dated 24 July 2020 issued by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, India.
• The figures for the quarter ended 31 March 2021 and 31 March 2020 are the balancing figures between audited figures $3.$ in respect of the full financial years and the published unaudited year to date figures upto the end of the third quarter of the relevant financial year, which were subjected to limited review and were not subjected to audit.

জৈব সুরক্ষিত বলয়ে থেকেও প্রতিযোগিতার মাঝে একের পর এক ক্রিকেটাররা কোভিড আক্রান্ত হয়েছিলেন আইপিএলে। ফলে মাঝপথেই অমীমাংসিতভাবে বন্ধ হয়ে যায় আইপিএল। ভারতীয় ক্রিকেট বোর্ড

যদিও আগাগোড়া বাকি ম্যাচগুলো আয়োজন করার ব্যাপারে আশাবাদী ছিল। এবার তা নিয়ে ইতিবাচক ইঙ্গিতই মিলছে। বোর্ডের এক সিনিয়ার কর্তার কথায়, সব ঠিক থাকলে সেপ্টেম্বরের ১৮–১৯ তারিখ থেকে একটি তিন সপ্তাহের উইন্ডো পাওয়া

যেতে পারে। সংযুক্ত আরব আমিরশাহির পাল্লা ভারী। আইপিএলের বাকি ম্যাচ সেখানেই আয়োজন করার ভাবনা রয়েছে বোর্ডের। দশটি ডাবল হেডারও থাকবে বলে ওই কর্তার জানিয়েছেন। আইপিএলের ফাইনাল অনুষ্ঠিত হতে পারে ৯ অথবা ১০ অক্টোবর। বোর্ডের ওই কর্তা জানিয়েছেন, বিসিসিআই সমস্ত ফ্র্যাঞ্চাইজির সঙ্গে কথা বলেছে। ১৮-২০ সেপ্টেম্বরের মধ্যে আইপিএল আবার শুরু হতে পারে।

যেহেতু ১৮ তারিখ শনিবার এবং ১৯ তারিখ রবিবার, তাই সবাই চাইবে সপ্তাহ শেষের দুটো দিন দিয়ে শুরু করতে। একইভাবে ৯ এবং ১০ অক্টোবর সপ্তাহ শেষের 'দু'দিন। ফাইনাল এই দু'দিনের কোনও একটিতে হতে পারে।'

ছত্রশাল স্টেডিয়াম কমপ্লেক্সের ভেতর তল্লাশি চালিয়ে একাধিক গাড়ি বাজেয়াপ্ত করেছিল দিল্লি পুলিশ। একটি গাড়ির ভেতর পাওয়া গিয়েছিল কয়েকটা হকি স্টিক। তারপর মৃত কুস্তিগির সাগর রানার ময়নাতদন্তের রিপোর্টে জানা গিয়েছে, তাঁর মাথায় ভোঁতা কোনও অস্ত্র দিয়ে মারা হয়েছিল। সাগরের শরীরের অন্যান্য

অংশেও আঘাতের চিহ্ন পাওয়া গিয়েছে। বাবু জগজীবন রাম মেমোরিয়াল হাসপাতালের চিকিৎসকেরা মনে করছেন মাথায় আঘাতের ফলেই মারা গিয়েছেন সাগর। ৪ মে রাত ২টো ৫২ মিনিটে গুরুতর আহত সাগরকে হাসপাতালের ট্রমা সেন্টারে নিয়ে যাওয়া হয়। আর সকাল ৭টা ১৫ মিনিটে তিনি মাবা যান।

সাগর খুনের মূল অভিযুক্ত সুশীল কুমারকে ৬ দিনের হেফাজতে নিয়েছে দিল্লি পুলিশ। অলিম্পিকে দু'বারের

পদকজয়ী কুস্তিগিরকে সোমবার টানা ৪ ঘণ্টা জিজ্ঞাসাবাদ করেছিল তারা। আর ওই দিন গভীর রাতে, ৪টের সময় সুশীলকে নিয়ে যাওয়া হয় ছত্রশাল স্টেডিয়ামের ওই ঘটনাস্থলে। ঘটনার পুনর্নির্মাণ করে পুলিশ। আরও তদন্তের জন্য সুশীলকে নিয়ে পুলিশ পৌঁছয় তাঁর মডেল টাউনের ফ্ল্যাটেও।

এদিকে ভারতের কুস্তি ফেডারেশন (ডব্লিউএফআই)-এর বার্ষিক চুক্তির তালিকা থেকে বাদ পড়তে পারেন সুশীল। অন্যদিকে কোনও কোনও মহলের দাবি, সুশীলের 'পদ্মশ্রী' সম্মান কেড়ে নেওয়া হোক।

মঙ্গলবার মুম্বইয়ে ভারতীয় দলের সঙ্গে যোগ দিলেন অধিনায়ক বিরাট কোহলি, রোহিত শর্মা এবং কোচ রবি শাস্ত্রী। সোমবারই দলের সঙ্গে জৈব–সরক্ষা বলয়ে যোগ দিয়েছেন ঋদ্ধিমান সাহা। গত ১৯ তারিখ মুম্বইয়ে একত্রিত হওয়া দলের সঙ্গে কোচ, অধিনায়ক যোগ দিতেই শুরু হয়ে গেল টিম ইন্ডিয়ার হার্ড কোয়ারেন্টিন।

বিশ্ব টেস্ট চ্যাম্পিয়নশিপের ফাইনাল এবং আসন্ন ইংল্যান্ড সফরের জন্য মুম্বইয়ের ৮ দিনের কোয়ারেন্টিন পর্ব চলবে বিরাটদের। একইসঙ্গে ভারতের মহিলা দলেরও কোয়ারেন্টিন পর্ব শুরু হল মুম্বইয়ে। সম্ভবত ২ জুন পুরুষ ও মহিলা দল একত্রে ইংল্যান্ড পাড়ি দেবে। আট দিনের কোয়ারেন্টিনে ক্রিকেটার ও সাপোর্ট স্টাফদের তিনবার করোনা পরীক্ষা হবে।প্রত্যেকটা রিপোর্ট নেগেটিভ এলে
