EMAAR PROPERTIES (PJSC) (the “Company”) Notice of Commencement of Nomination to the Board of Directors

The Board of Directors is honored to inform the shareholders that the nomination for membership of the Board of Directors of the Company shall start from Sunday 21 March 2021 to Tuesday 30 March 2021. Each person fulfilling the conditions of nomination to the Board may nominate themselves by submitting an electronic application by way of sending an email at (investor_relations@emaar.ae), attaching to the application a brief biography of the applicant and the category of directorship for which they desire to be nominated (i.e. executive member – non-executive member – independent member – non-independent member). The application form may be downloaded from the Company’s website (www.emaar.com).

General Conditions:

• 1- The number of directors to be elected to the Board is nine (9) directors.

• 2- The nomination period for membership of the Board of Directors shall continue for at least ten (10) days, as per the requirements of Article (9) of the guide attached to the Resolution of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Securities and Commodities Authority No. (3/R.M.) of 2020 Concerning the Approval of the Governance Guide of Public Joint Stock Companies (the “ Governance Guide ”).

• 3- A candidate for Board membership must fulfill the conditions stated in Federal Law No (2) of 2015 regarding Commercial Companies, the Governance Guide and the Articles of Association of the Company as amended from time to time. Moreover, the candidate must complete and submit the above-mentioned nomination application form.

• 4- To enclose with the nomination application the documents referred to in Article (10) of the Governance Guide.

• 5- Following the expiry of the nomination period, the candidate may not assign their nomination to another person.

• 6- The Company will post the names of nominees and details of their nomination on the notice board at the Company’s headquarters and on the Company’s website (www.emaar.com) by Wednesday 31 March 2021.

• 7- The Securities & Commodities Authority and Dubai Financial Market will be provided with the list of the nominees after the end of the nomination period.
