Elsight Completes Testing with Israel Aerospace Industries

Highlights:

• Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) and Elsight have completed a successful technical Proof of Concept (POC) enabling Elsight to provide their Communications on the Move technology for IAI Robotic Systems units.

• IAI provides autonomous, end-to-end Ground Robotic solutions for a variety of platforms and applications.

• Elsight’s Multichannel technology enables long-range cellular control and communications of robotic tools and vehicles.

Elsight Limited (ASX: ELS) announces that in conjunction with Israel Aerospace Industries it has successfully completed a comprehensive technical test proving the ability of autonomous and collaborative unmanned robotic tools and vehicles of IAI to be fully controlled anywhere and from any range, using existing cellular communications infrastructure via Elsight’s Multichannel technology.

The announcement follows a successful testing of Elsight’s Multichannel technology by IAI’s Robotic Systems, during which Elsight proved its ability to supply long-range cellular communication within and beyond secured areas, without compromising on data security. The experiment demonstrated how Elsight's Multichannel technology can enhance communication availability, coverage and to better serve defense customers locally and worldwide.

Elsight delivers comprehensive transmission and delivery solutions for the “Age of Connectivity” ensuring military grade, secured and continuous, high quality and widest possible bandwidth, two-way audio, video, and data transmissions from remote locations over advanced Bonding technology.

IAI Robotic Systems autonomous solutions are implemented and operational for different missions such as Combat Support, Combat Engineering, IED detection and route clearing, Border Protection, Logistic Support, Infantry support, etc. The solution is tailored to individual customer requirements and includes the robotic platform, the operator control unit and communication.

IAI is considering Elsight's Multichannel device to provide dual, no infrastructure and real-time cellular communications transmission to its ground robotic systems, enabling complete, reliable control and unmatched services, while ensuring transmitted data is fully protected.

Elsight's units simultaneously transmit 3G/4G LTE via cellular, with failover to satellite, ensuring unbroken connectivity at high bandwidths with complete redundancy. The two-way data communications enable continuous control over the unmanned vehicles using Elsight's high security, cyber protected solution.

Elsight expects that the successful testing will lead to initial orders being placed by Israel Aerospace Industries and we will inform the market when this transpires.
