Elsight Receives Large-Scale Order from Alrena for Emergency Telemedicine Technology

Highlights:

• Elsight has been contracted by Alrena Technologies to supply 50 new Smart Medicase kits for 2019

• The first 10 kits to be delivered before the end of 2018.

• This order is worth around US$500,000 pursuant to the partnership agreement signed in 2017

• Alrena is to receive funding of 2,000,000 Euros as approved by CCI Val-De-Marne to scale up sales and operations for its Smart Medicase product

• The Smart Medicase kits will enable medical professionals in remote and rural areas to provide lifesaving treatment via telemedicine. This solution has been adopted by French authorities.

Elsight Limited (ASX: ELS), an ASX listed company that develops advanced communication technologies for real-time data, video, and audio transmission over cellular networks in mission-critical environments, announced today that the company has been contracted by French company Alrena Technologies to produce 50 complete Smart Medicase kits - handheld emergency telemedicine kits, complete with Elsight’s innovative Multichannel technology.

Easy to carry and equipped with Elsight’s Multichannel technology, Alrena’s Smart Medicase is designed to assist in saving lives, without having a doctor to have a comprehensive medical team on site. The Multichannel technology's encrypted transmission ensures complete security. Data is split into multiple pieces, based on the number of available channels and each segment is encrypted up to 256 bits, locked into a VPN tunnel and transmitted via aggregated GSM channels. In the event that even one or two pieces of data are hacked, the hacked data is incomplete and useless as it is impossible to get the full picture, ensuring high security, high availability and highly dynamic and adaptive capabilities - exactly what Alrena and its clients need.

Alrena was able to secure its first large-scale investment worth 2 million Euros that was reviewed and approved by Project Evaluation Committee of Chamber of Commerce (CCI Val-De-Marne). The investment will be jointly funded by BPIFrance (The Bank of Entrepreneurs of France) as well as by private and other institutional investors. This investment allows Alrena to scale up its sales and operations. As a first step, Alrena is ramping up its sales and distribution efforts in France, with an already significant pipeline to close. Additionally, to meet the delivery expectations, Alrena is outsourcing assembly in preparation of delivery of orders as they close.

Following this investment, Alrena has placed an order with Elsight for 50 new Smart Medicase Kits, 10 of which are to be delivered in 2018.

The announcement of Alrena’s large order is the latest development in an ongoing strategic partnership between the two companies, which was entered into in 2017.
