INITIAL COURT HEARING DATE SET

Elixir Petroleum Limited (ASX:EXR) is pleased to advise that it has been informed overnight that the Administrative Court of Strasbourg has set a hearing date for the Moselle proceedings for 1 February 2017. The defendants in this case are the French Minister of the Environment and the French Minister of the Economy.

Based on precedents set by the courts on similar cases in recent months, the Company looks forward to a favourable outcome.
