APPOINTMENT OF COMPANY SECRETARY

Elixir Petroleum Limited (“Elixir” or “the Company”) (ASX: EXR) advises the appointment of Mr Keith Bowker as the Company Secretary, effective 9 July 2012.

Mr Bowker is a qualified chartered accountant and is a founding director of Somerville Corporate Pty Ltd, a corporate advisory firm that specialises in providing financial reporting and company secretarial services. Mr Bowker currently holds the position of non-executive director/company secretary for Vortex Pipes Limited and company secretary for Insured Group Limited.

The Company advises that Ms Julie Foster has resigned as Company Secretary effective 9 July 2012 and the Board would like to express its appreciation to Ms Foster for her significant contribution and wish her well in her future.
