Resignation of Director

Elixir Petroleum Limited (“Elixir”) advises that Mr Trevor Benson has resigned from his position as a Non-Executive Director of the Company effective 29 June 2009.

Mr Benson’s resignation comes as a result of him having recently taken a position with a financial advisory house which does not permit its executives holding public company directorships.

The Board would like to express its appreciation to Mr Benson for his valuable input and efforts during his tenure as a director and to wish him well in his future endeavours.

Please also find attached an Appendix 3Z.
