Puteaux, July 8, 2016 – Elis, the leading multi-services group in Europe and Latin America, specializing in the rental and maintenance of professional clothing, textile articles, hygiene and well-being appliances, has taken another step in it strategy aiming at consolidating its footprint in its key markets with the closing of a transaction in Switzerland.
The Group has acquired a laundry serving mainly restaurant clients in Zürich and the surrounding region. On a full-year basis, the company will generate revenues of c. €5 million. It will be consolidated in Elis' financial statements from 1st July onwards.
With this transaction, Elis is continuing its strategy of targeted, value-creative bolt-on acquisitions. Elis now enjoys an unrivalled network of 17 laundries in the country, serving both legacy clients in the hospitality and healthcare segments as well as industrial clients with its workwear offer.
Commenting on this announcement, Xavier Martiré, CEO of Elis, said:

Hence, Elis reenforces its leadership position in Switzerland, the second largest country for the Group in terms of revenues after France.
