Elis announces the clearance of its planned acquisition of Kings Laundry in Ireland by the country's competition authority

Saint-Cloud, July 10, 2019 – Elis, an international multi-service provider, offering textile, hygiene and facility services solutions across Europe and Latin America, announces that its planned acquisition of Kings Laundry in Ireland has been cleared by the Irish Competition and Consumer Protection Commission ("CCPC") following an in-depth (Phase II) review.

To achieve clearance, the CCPC required legally binding commitments from Elis. Those commitments relate to the divestment of some healthcare contracts.

Elis intends to comply with the commitments in the coming months and then proceed to close the transaction.
