FABRIZIO GHISLA APPOINTED NEW GENERAL MANAGER OF MOTOR DIVISION

Fabrizio Ghisla will lead EMC FIME, Europe's leading designer and manufacturer of electric motors and blowers and a subsidiary of the Elica Group.

Fabriano, 12th December 2022 – Elica S.p.A., the global leader in the production of kitchen extraction systems, announces today the nomination of Fabrizio Ghisla as General Manager of EMC FIME, a leading European company in the design and production of electric motors for household appliances and heating boilers, which has also entered the hydrogen market this year with its PREMIX fan line.

Thanks to his proven experience, Fabrizio Ghisla will lead the company towards its 2023 objectives, which include an expansion programme of the "Hydrogen Ready" product range and an acceleration in the heat pump segment. The innovative projects and investments will allow EMC FIME to have an increasingly and complete range of products.

Ghisla graduated in Aerospace Engineering from Turin Polytechnic, has a master's degree in Business Administration from SAA in Turin; he gained various work experiences in the automotive sector in large companies such as "Valeo Safety Systems" and "TRW", where he held important positions, including the role of Global Technical Director of Design.

Fabrizio joined Elica Group as R&D Director of the Motors Business Unit and today holds the position of General Manager of EMC FIME; this internal growth confirms Elica's will to always continue to promote the development of its people throughout the world and in all the Group's businesses.
