Prior to joining Elgi Equipments Ltd., Mr. Ragunathan Gunabooshanam (Ragu) worked as Vice President, Finance, IT & Procurement for Praxair India Private.ltd. Ragu joined Praxair Inc., in 1999 as corporate auditor and held various positions in Strategic Planning and Finance before moving back to India. He has 23 years of work experience and has managed multicultural teams in the US and India with individuals of diverse nationalities and ethnicities.

Ragu won the Great Manager Award in 2016 as part of the Great Manager Awards Program run by People Business & Times of India Group.

Ragu holds a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce from the University of Madras and a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Pennsylvania State University. He is also a Chartered Accountant.
