MILLENIUM SOIL SURVEY PROGRAM

Elementos Limited (ASX: ELT) (“Elementos” or the “Company”) is pleased report a soil sampling survey has commenced at the Millenium cobalt-copper project in far north Queensland. The program is the next phase of exploration following the successful rock chip sampling program in 2010.

The sampling program will be completed over the Mining Licences (“ML’s”) where a previously identified north-northeast trending fault structure has confirmed the presence of cobalt and copper mineralisation through surface rock chip sampling and drilling – highlights are presented in Figure 1.

The objectives of the soil sampling program are:

  • 1) Drill target generation across the northern half of the ML’s where there is no historical drilling and limited surface outcrop; and

  • 2) An orientation program to confirm the fastest and most efficient sampling technique for the style of mineralisation in the area. The preferred methodology will then be applied to the surrounding 250 km2 exploration permits currently under application – Figure 2.

The program will be completed on a 25 x 100 metre gird over two kilometres of strike and will involve a combination of soil sample collection for laboratory analysis and in the field analysis using a Niton XRF. The planned program will take approximately seven days and the results will be available in May 2011.

The company believes that this program has the potential to extend the previously recognised mineralisation in the south of the tenement northwards into areas not previously drilled. This will be used to extend the planned drill program northwards, potentially extending the known mineralisation.
