Elementos CEO Joe David appointed Managing Director.

Elementos Limited (ASX: ELT) has appointed company chief executive officer Mr Joe David to the Board of Directors as Managing Director.

Mr David served as CEO since April 2021 during which time he led the completion of the drilling campaign at the company’s flagship Oropesa Tin Project in Spain that returned significant intersections and contributed to a material increase in the project’s Total Resource Estimate.

Additionally, he has announced an Optimisations Study and the commencement of the Definitive Feasibility Study at the Oropesa Tin Project. Progressing the Cleveland Tin Project has also been a focus with a strategic review underway and the commencement of prospective targets likely to be underway during Q1-2022.

Elementos’ Chairman Mr Andy Greig said Mr David’s promotion to the Board was a logical appointment. “ Joe has performed strongly as CEO since he joined the company and his outstanding project management capabilities have served to fast-track the development of our tin assets in Spain and Tasmania. We look forward to him contributing further as a member of the Board of Directors ,” Mr Greig said.

Mr David held executive positions in mining, construction, and finance industries prior to joining Elementos. His career has spanned executive roles with private equity, listed and private companies as well running his own consulting group for four years. He has managed the development of natural resource projects, bankable feasibility studies, exploration and metallurgical programs, project financing, corporate finance advisory, corporate strategy, and mergers and acquisitions.

Mr David is a Mining Engineer (AusIMM), Civil Engineer and holds a Commerce Degree in Finance.

Mr David’s annual remuneration will increase by up to $40,000 (additional $20,000 base salary and up to an additional $20,000 of discretionary bonus).
