CFO Appointment
Elementos Limited (ASX: ELT) (“Elementos” or the “Company”) is pleased to advise that it has appointed Mr Drew Speedy as Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”).
Mr Speedy has held numerous finance roles within Australian Securities Exchange listed resources companies over the past 15 years. Most recently, he served as CFO and Company Secretary of UIL Energy Ltd until its (Board Recommended) takeover by Strike Energy Ltd.
Prior to that he was Financial Controller of Bow Energy Ltd until its sale to Arrow Energy and has held senior finance roles with other companies including Arrow Energy, Blue Energy, and Queensland Gas Company during its market capitalisation growth phase from $20 million to ~$2 billion.
In recent months, Mr Speedy has been assisting Elementos in a consulting capacity, finalising the due diligence and acquisition of the Oropesa Tin Project in Spain.
Mr Speedy has a Bachelor of Business from the Queensland University of Technology, and is a member of the Certified Practicing Accountants and the Governance Institute of Australia.
The Company’s previous CFO, Mr Duncan Cornish, will remain as Company Secretary.
