SUSPENSION FROM OFFICIAL QUOTATION

The securities of Montezuma Mining Company Limited (the “Company”) will be suspended from official quotation immediately at the request of the Company, pending the release of an announcement in relation to a capital raising.

REQUEST FOR VOLUNTARY SUSPENSION

In accordance with ASX Listing Rule 17.2, Montezuma Mining Company Ltd requests the current trading halt be extended into a voluntary suspension as the Company continues to finalise a capital raising. The Company is not currently in a position to provide full details to the market.

The Company requests that the voluntary suspension end on the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Monday, 8 August 2016, or when the anticipated announcement referred to above is released to the market.

The Company is not aware of any reason why the voluntary trading suspension should not be granted, nor of any other information necessary to inform the market.
