Ian Dennis Retires from EOS Board of Directors and Appointment of new Joint Company Secretary

Electro Optic Systems Holdings Limited (“EOS” or “Company”) (ASX: EOS) previously announced on 12 April 2021, the impending retirement of Non-Executive Director Ian Dennis from the EOS Board after more than 20 years’ service. Ian Dennis retired as a Non-Executive Director at the Annual General Meeting today by not seeking re-election as a Director.

Announcing the retirement, the Chair of the Board of EOS, Mr Fred Bart, said: “Ian Dennis has served as a board director of EOS for 21 years. During that period EOS has developed into Australia’s largest listed defence company, and largest defence exporter. The company has grown from a start-up to an ASX300 company, with annual revenues around $250 million, and global operations.”

“Over the last 4 years, EOS has grown at a compound annual growth rate exceeding 70% and has built a platform for more high growth, sustained over a long period.”

Ian Dennis has agreed to remain as Joint Company Secretary for a short period to enable a smooth transition to the newly appointed Joint Company Secretary, Morgan Bryant, who has today been appointed as Joint Company Secretary of EOS.

Morgan Bryant joined EOS as the Group’s General Counsel in March 2020. Prior to joining EOS, Morgan was Group General Counsel and Company Secretary with the ASX-listed Viva Leisure Limited (VVA:ASX), having advised the Group though its IPO in 2019 and a number of subsequent capital raising activities. Morgan has previously held tenures as the Managing Partner of a Canberra-based legal practice and has a strong background in corporate, commercial and administrative law.

Morgan holds a Bachelor of International Studies, Bachelor of Laws and Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice and is admitted to the High Court of Australia as a Barrister and Solicitor.
