2008 SECOND QUARTER RESULTS RELEASE SCHEDULED FOR AUGUST 12, 2008

TEL AVIV, Israel – July 22, 2008 – Elbit Systems Ltd. (NASDAQ: ESLT) announced today that it will be releasing its second quarter and first half 2008 results on Tuesday, August 12, 2008.
The Company will also be hosting a conference call on the same day, Tuesday, August 12, at 9am EDT. On the call, management will review and discuss the results and will be available to answer questions.
