Robert Elrod Appointed as President and CEO of Elbit Systems of America

Haifa, Israel, April 12, 2007. Elbit Systems Ltd. (Nasdaq: ESLT) announced that the Board of Directors of Elbit Systems of America, LLC (“ESA”) has appointed Robert Elrod as ESA’s Interim President and CEO, effective April 9, 2007, replacing Tim Taylor. Mr. Elrod, who recently was appointed to ESA’s Board of Directors, is a former senior executive of Lockheed Martin, with extensive experience in the U.S. aerospace and defense industry.
