Elbit Systems' Subsidiary, Elop, Awarded A Contract To Supply Electronic Land Systems Valued At Approximately $130 Million
Haifa, Israel, September 20 2006 – Elbit Systems Ltd. (NASDAQ Global Select Market: ESLT) announced today that its subsidiary, Elbit Systems Electro-Optics Elop Ltd. ("Elop") was awarded a contract in the amount of approximately $130 million to develop and manufacture electronic land systems for a foreign customer.
The project includes also logistic support for the systems and will be performed over several years.
