("EKF", the "Company")

Result of General Meeting

EKF Diagnostics Holdings plc (AIM: EKF), the AIM listed medical diagnostics business, announces that at the general meeting of the Company held today the resolutions to cancel the share premium account of the Company and to grant the Company the general authority to make market purchases of its own shares were passed.

As previously announced, the cancellation is necessary in order for the Company to proceed with its share buyback plan of up to 15% of the Company's current issued share capital.

The Company is currently making the necessary court applications to enable it to proceed with the share buyback and will issue further updates at the appropriate time.
