Due to the fact that the efficiency, capacity utilization performance, and profitability at the Oncolytic Production Unit do not meet the desired levels according to Gensenta's targets, a decision has been made to cease production and packaging activities and to close the Oncolytic Production Unit.

Onkolitik Üretim Ünitesi, Gensenta'nın Yenibosna'da yer alan ve mamul ilaç üretimi gerçekleştirilen ana üretim tesisi yakınında faaliyet göstermekte olan tali bir tesistir. Burada yapılmakta olan üretim, Gensenta'nın toplam üretim kapasitesinin ve satışlarının sınırlı bir bölümünü oluşturmaktadır. Bu nedenle üretimin durdurulmasının, Gensenta'nın faaliyetlerine ve üretim kapasitesine, Gensenta'nın ve konsolide bazda Şirketimizin finansal sonuçlarına önemli bir etki yapması beklenmemektedir.

Oncolytic Production Unit is a secondary facility operating near Gensenta's main production facility in Yenibosna, where finished drug production is carried out. The production conducted here constitutes a limited portion of Gensenta's total production capacity and sales. Therefore, it is not expected that ceasing production will have a significant impact on Gensenta's operations, production capacity, or the financial results of Gensenta and our company on a consolidated basis.

Following the cessation of production, the dismantling of the machinery and equipment in the Oncolytic Production Unit, which are close to the end of their economic life and the cleaning and emptying of the facility will be started. Bağlı ortaklığımız Gensenta İlaç Sanayi ve Ticaret Anonim Şirketi (Gensenta) tarafından, Yenibosna'da bulunan ve steril onkoloji alanında üretim yapan Onkolitik Üretim Ünitesi'nde (Üretim Ünitesi), verimin, kapasite kullanım performansının ve karlılığın Gensenta'nın hedefleri çerçevesinde istenilen düzeyde olmaması nedenleriyle, üretim ve ambalajlama faaliyetlerinin 13.09.2024 tarihi itibariyle durdurulmasına ve Üretim Ünitesi'nin kapatılmasına karar verilmiştir. Bu çerçevede ilgili kamu kurumlarına başvuru süreci başlatılacaktır.

Üretim Ünitesi, Gensenta'nın Yenibosna'da yer alan ve mamul ilaç üretimi gerçekleştirilen ana üretim tesisi yakınında faaliyet göstermekte olan tali bir tesistir. Burada yapılmakta olan üretim, Gensenta toplam üretim kapasitesinin ve satışlarının sınırlı bir bölümünü oluşturmaktadır. Due to the fact that the efficiency, capacity utilization performance, and profitability of the Oncolytic Production Unit (Production Unit) located in Yenibosna, which is engaged in sterile oncology production, do not meet the desired levels within the framework of Gensenta's targets, a decision has been made by our affiliated company Gensenta İlaç Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. (Gensenta) to cease production and packaging activities as of 13.09.2024 and to close the Production Unit. In this context, the process of applying to the relevant public authorities will be initiated.
