Eiffage, through its subsidiary Eiffage Énergie Systèmes (project lead), won in consortium with Lorraine Énergie, a company specialised in the area of heating-ventilation-air conditioning, and DEF, French manufacturer of fire safety systems, the technical macro-lot awarded by the public institution Rebâtir Notre-Dame de Paris, contracting authority in charge of the restoration of the cathedral.
The project, underway, includes IT installations, safety and technical building management, the suite of high-voltage electricity, heating-ventilation-air conditioning, plumbing as well as the fire safety system and a backup generator.
The consortium is fully committed and determined to contribute to the success of this exceptional project that will lead to the reopening of the cathedral in December 2024.
