Eiffage strengthen its Concessions by acquiring 5.03 % of Eurotunnel

Eiffage has acquired on the market 5.03%* of the capital of Eurotunnel SE (Getlink), the Channel Tunnel concession company until 2086 and a key player in mobility infrastructures in Europe.

This transaction fits in Eiffage strategy aimed at diversifying its concessions portfolio, already strong of a number of holdings in transport infrastructures in Europe, as well as lengthening its duration.

Eiffage intends to be a long term investor of Getlink and reserves the possibility of continuing its purchases depending upon market conditions.

This €307.5M investment has been financed by Eiffage on its available treasury.

* Representing 4.33% of voting rights on the basis of 550,000,000 shares and 639,310,894 voting rights as published by Getlink on 7 December 2018.
