Eiffage, through its subsidiary Eiffage Énergie Systèmes, has entered into an agreement to acquire 51% of the Kropman group, based in Nijmegen, Netherlands, specialists in the multitechnical fields of electrical and mechanical engineering and contamination control and measurement.
A national reference player, Kropman, founded in 1934, has more than 800 employees and generated revenues of nearly €153 million in 2017.
This acquisition, negotiated one-on-one, allows Eiffage Énergie Systèmes to bolster its European network.
Kropman, Eiffage Énergie Systèmes' first acquisition in the Netherlands, will enable it to offer its customers all of its know-how in this area.
This transaction is subject to the approval of the Dutch competition authorities. It is expected to be finalised during 2018.
