Excluding Construction, APRR's consolidated revenue totalled €494.2 million in the first quarter of 2014, an increase of 2.1% from €484.3 million in the first quarter of 2013.

Overall traffic measured by the number of kilometres travelled increased by 0.7% year-on-year in the first quarter of 2014.

Light vehicle traffic was strong in January and February, thanks in particular to the milder weather compared to 2013 but was penalised in March by the shift of the Easter week end from March in 2013 to April in 2014. Heavy goods vehicle traffic was up 1.9% compared to Q1 2013, confirming its recovering trend.

Tariff

The annual tariffs revision took place on 1st February 2014 with an average increase of 0.80% for APRR and 0.84% for AREA.

(*) Reminder: the application of IFRIC 12 from 1 January 2009 requires the recognition of revenue generated by construction activities, which corresponds to infrastructure construction services performed by the concession operator for the account of the concession grantor, this work being entrusted to third parties and recognised using the percentage of completion method.


