EEII AG has cancelled the intended investment in (GAB) Grupo Alves Bandeira
The contract negotiations with GAB had to be cancelled as the shareholders of GAB did not approve the takeover offer of EEII AG. EEII AG has ruled out further negotiations as an increase in the offer would not be in the interests of the shareholders.
EEII's strategy to position itself as a leading player in the European energy infrastructure sector remains unchanged. EEII AG is currently evaluating further opportunities and will inform shareholders accordingly if negotiations are successful.
