Final dividend

The Directors of the Edinburgh Investment Trust plc (the "Company") announced on 30 May 2023 that they are proposing a final dividend of 6.70 pence per ordinary share for the year to 31 March 2023, (2022: 6.40 pence) implying a full year pay-out of 26.20 pence per share. This final dividend is subject to shareholder approval at the forthcoming AGM on 19 July 2023 and, if agreed, will be payable on 28 July 2023 to ordinary shareholders on the register on 9 June 2023. The shares will be quoted ex-dividend on 8 June 2023.

The Company operates a dividend reinvestment plan ("DRIP") for those who own their shares directly. The final date for receipt of elections under the DRIP will be 9 June 2023.
