ecotel communication ag releases preliminary figures for 2013. These
figures are either within the forecast interval or exceed the public
guidance.

Revenue in the financial year 2013 was EUR 91.4 million and exceeded the
public forecast of EUR 80-90 million. The decrease in revenue of 3% is due
to the 15% revenue decline of the Wholesale segment. The B2B segment saw a
revenue increase for the first time since 2007 and showed a gross margin of
more than 50%.

EBITDA amounted to EUR 6.7 million and came in at the upper end of the
forecast corridor of EUR 6-7 million. EBIT was EUR 3.3 million. Net income
rose from EUR 1.4 million (2012 adjusted) to EUR 1.5 million. Earnings per
share gained 11% from EUR 0.38 (2012 adjusted) to EUR 0.42 with a share
capital of 3.6 million shares. The balance sheet total increased from EUR
42.7 million to EUR 46 million with a constant equity ratio of 45%.

Operating cash flow showed a nice development to EUR 7.0 million. Free cash
flow was EUR -0.7 million in line with increased investments of EUR 7.7
million as a result of a major contract with a reputed assurance company.

Based on the current business figures ecotel' board anticipates a
sustainable growth path also for 2014. The guidance for the financial year
2014 is going to be published together with the final figures 2013 on 31
March 2014.
