Acquisition of Econocom Group shares by BIS BV
BIS BV, a subsidiary of Econocom Group, has entered into an agreement on 4 February 2021 pursuant to which it acquires the 6.01% stake (13,278,091 shares) held by two companies controlled by Walter Butler (i.e. Butler Industries Benelux SA and Butler Industries) in the share capital of Econocom Group SE.
The agreed sale price is EUR 2.825 per Econocom Group SE share. The settlement will take place in the coming days.
Walter Butler (through companies controlled by him) acquired a stake in Econocom Group SE in 2013, when Econocom Group acquired Osiatis.
Following this transaction and as agreed, Walter Butler resigned from his position as director of Econocom Group SE.
According to Jean-Louis Bouchard: "Walter Butler has been a loyal supporter of the group over all these years and I sincerely thank him for his active participation in the Board of Directors and the Audit Committee of Econocom Group".
Walter Butler said: "These years of participation in the group's bodies have been constructive and exciting, and I thank Jean-Louis Bouchard and all the directors for the quality and diversity of our discussions".
