The Board of Eclipse Metals Limited (“the Company”) is pleased to provide the following
commentary and Appendix 5B.
HIGHLIGHTS
Exploration Highlights:

Mary Valley Manganese :
 Field examination has confirmed substantial deposits of manganese mineralisation in
the Mary Valley tenements.
 Sample assays confirm grades reported for historical ore shipments.
 Stronger manganese mineralisation was observed to be closely associated with more
deformed and sheared/faulted zones.

Moonford Iron:
 Assay results confirm substantial bedded type iron mineralisation within the
Moonford Project tenement.
 Oolitic iron mineralisation from surface.
 Sample assays support 1980’s drill sample iron grades.

West Arnhem (Liverpool) Uranium:
 Further desktop assessment of historical drilling data from Uranerz Australia Pty Ltd
1989 Exploration program supports surface exploration results of up 5.8% U3O8and
38 g/t Au.
 Amalgamated digitised data indicates further exploration upside.

Ngalia Basin Uranium negotiation progressed with CLC.
 The first Native Title Meetings scheduled for ELA 24624 & ELA 24627 during first
quarter of 2014 – 2015 f/year.

Exploration Activities

Queensland Projects:

During the June quarter, the Company designed and commissioned the first phase of a ground exploration programme over the Mary Valley Manganese & Moonford Iron project areas in Queensland. Subsequent to this, a second phase of exploration was commissioned on both areas at the end of the June quarter and completed during the month of July.

The April/May preliminary reconnaissance exploration program resulted in identifying substantial areas of manganese mineralisation in the Mary Valley tenements as announced on 29[th] April 2014. At the Moonford iron project, occurrence of outcropping oolitic bedded iron mineralisation was announced on 6[th] May 2014

Location map showing the Queensland Mary Valley and Moonford projects

Mary Valley Project:

Historically the Mary Valley Project tenements have yielded over 32,000t of high grade direct shipping manganese ore with assays of 42 to 51% Mn from mining operations carried out during the 1920’s and 1960’s. In the past 50 years little to no geological activity has been recorded over the Mary Valley prospects. Observations from the first pass of exploration include the following-:

Moonford Iron Project:

Initial reconnaissance extended the area of previously unrecorded iron mineralisation for 1.4 km from historical Drill Site 1. This area contains bedded oolitic iron mineralisation at surface over a strike length of 2.3 km and width of 0.9 km with potential for significant strike and width extensions. Analytical results from recent sampling returned grades similar to those from historical Drill Site 1 and that the area warrants further investigation.

  • West Arnhem (Liverpool) Uranium (NT Top-end):

Further desktop reviews of Uranerz 1989 Exploration Report conducted during the March 2014 quarter, highlighted radiometric anomalies within the project areas with surface exploration results of up 5.8% U3O8 and 38 g/t Au. The historical data was assessed and the old working maps and cross-section were digitised giving enhanced understanding of project potential. Amalgamation of the historical data together with the digitised maps shows that several very high radiometric anomalies within the project areas remain untested, supporting further exploration upside for the project.

Communication with the Northern Land Council has been encouraged to progress, and a possible meeting date scheduled within the early part of the 2014/2015 financial year. At this stage, the company is seeking Native Title meetings in relation to ELA27584, ELA26244 and 26193 as they hold the most prospective ground to host uraniumgold mineralisation based on historical exploration work conducted over these areas.

Ngalia Basin (Southern NT) Uranium negotiation progressed with Central Land Council

The first Native Title Meetings between Eclipse Metals Ltd and the Traditional owners are schedule between the 19th and 20th August 2014 over ELA 24624 and ELA 24627 at Papunya Community north-west of Alice Springs. The purpose of the meeting is to seek approval for uranium exploration over Aboriginal Freehold Land from the Traditional owners through negotiations from the Central Land Council as their legal representatives.

Eclipse is currently awaiting an exploration agreement from the Central Land Council for the purpose of granting title to ELA26490, ELA 26487, ELA26488 and ELA26284. The company first must agree to the terms and conditions of the agreement before an offer of grant will be issued from the Northern Territory Titles Division in Darwin.

Corporate

Divestment of non-core assets:

As announced to the market on 14th April 2014, Eclipse Metals Limited entered into an agreement with private entity Laura Exploration Pty Ltd, for the divestment of 100% of the Company’s interests in the Yellow Jack (EPM 17321) and Devils Mountain (EPM 17685) tenements held by its subsidiary Walla Mines Pty Ltd. Terms of the sale agreement were completed during the quarter and total sales consideration of $125,000 has been received.

Board changes:

Strategic Board reforms were made at the start of the Quarter, where Mr Carl Popal was appointed as Executive Chairman and Mr Pedro Kastellorizos was appointed as an Executive Director as of 3rd April 2014. The reforms further consolidated the Company’s administrative management and geological expertise as the Company progresses exploration programs and addresses corporate matters.

As announced on 25th June 2014, Ms Eryn Kestel was appointed as Company Secretary and subsequently Mr Keith Bowker stepped down from that role.
