Appointment of Executive Director and Chairman

The Board of Eclipse Metals Limited ( “EP M ” or “the Co mpany ”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Pedro Kastellorizos as Executive Director. Mr Carl Popal ’s position as Managing Director will cease and will take the role of Executive Chairman, effective immediately.

Mr Kastellorizos is Managing Director and founder of Kastellco Geological Consultancy and Global Mineral Brokers. He is a geologist with 17 years of experience in multi commodity exploration, underground mining, geological interpretation, corporate management, and tenement trading and administration within Australia and overseas.

He has worked with many public listed companies within Australia and internationally, including Northern Gold N.L., AFMECO Mining and Exploration Pty Ltd, Tennant Creek Gold, Red Rock Resources Plc and Regency Mines Plc. He has also worked for the Geological Survey and Titles Division of the Northern Territory Resources Department.

Mr Kastellorizos spearheaded the listing of Genesis Resources Ltd as the founder and Managing Director and listed on the ASX in October 2009 with a successful capital raising of $4 million dollars with an oversubscription of funds. He has also held board directorships within Batavia Mining Limited and Regency Mines Plc.

The reforms in appointing Mr Kastellorizos as an Executive Director further affirms the Company ’s aim of progressing towards an exploration program that thrives in dealing with the vast number of multi commodity projects in Northern Territory and Queensland.

The board is poised to announce within weeks, an exploration program over the Mary Valley Manganese Project and the Moonford Iron Project as the first tasks to be commissioned by Mr Kastellorizos.

The Mary Valley Manganese Project is located approximately 14 road kilometres southwest of Gympie Township in Queensland. The project comprises two Exploration Permits (17672 & 17938) with an area of 195.3 km[2] easily accessed from the Brooloo Road from Gympie Township and only 165 rail kilometres from the port of Brisbane.

A total of 32,724 tonnes of ore was mined from both EPM areas with the manganese grade ranging from 42% to 51% Mn. Limits of all deposits are not known either along strike or at depth. Historical assays also indicate that the silica, iron and phosphate levels are all within the direct shipping ore parameters which further support the economic potential for stand-alone mining operations based on the Mary Valley Manganese Project.

The Moonford Iron Project is located approximately 13 kilometres from Monto Township rail-line, about 133 rail kilometres from the port of Gladstone. There is approximately 18 km[2] of favourable iron bearing lithology (Evergreen Formation - Oolitic ironstone) within the EL area. There are over 18 historical percussion holes intersecting limonite mineralisation below 2 m of overburden ranging from 30.42 to 40.29% Fe.
