SUSPENSION FROM OFFICIAL QUOTATION
The securities of Eastern Iron Limited (the “Company”) will be suspended from quotation immediately, at the request of the Company, pending the release of an announcement regarding a proposed acquisition and capital raising.

Voluntary Suspension Request
In accordance with Listing Rule 17.2, Eastern Iron Limited ( Company ) (ASX: EFE) requests voluntary suspension of its securities effective immediately, pending an announcement about a potential acquisition and capital raising.
The Company expects the suspension to last for up to three business days.
The Company expects to make an announcement to the market regarding the potential acquisition and capital raising on or before 22 December 2017. The making of this announcement is expected to end the period of voluntary suspension.
The Company is not aware of any reason why the voluntary suspension should not be granted.
