APPOINTMENT OF MR JASON HOU TO THE BOARD

AND RESIGNATION OF MRS THERESE-MARIE TAYLOR

The Directors of Eastern Iron Limited are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Jason Hou to the Board.

Mr Hou has a professional background in finance and is well known to the Directors through his financial consulting services to the Company.

He has extensive experience and connections in Australia and China, and has been involved in numerous M&A transactions for listed and private companies with a focus on restructuring and capital sourcing on inward China and Hong Kong Based investment in the resources sector. Mr Hou was one of the co-founders of Bligh Resources Limited. Mr Hou also played a leading role in the A$110 million listing of Stonewall Resources Limited on the ASX.

Mrs Therese-Marie Taylor has resigned from the Board and Directors thank for her contribution over the past 4 years.

Directors are of the view that following the resignation of Mrs Taylor, Mr Hou’s skills and experience are a good and appropriate fit within the matrix of skills required by the Board.
