APPOINTMENT OF ACTING CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

The Directors of Eastern Iron Limited (ASX:EFE) are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Myles Fang – B Eng, MBA (Newcastle) as Acting Chief Executive Officer for Eastern Iron Limited effective 7 December 2016. Mr Fang replaces long standing CEO, Mr Greg De Ross, whose retirement was announced at the AGM on 17 November.

Mr Fang has extensive experience in marketing and business development with Chinese, Australian and international companies operating from China and Australia. He has nearly 20 years of experience in business management, business development, sales and marketing and fund raising. His role as acting CEO for Eastern Iron will focus on securing funding for major project acquisitions. Upon the successful acquisition of a major project, Eastern Iron expects to transition to a suitably experienced CEO to lead the Company going forward.
