ELECTION OF MR STEVE GEMELL AS CHAIRMAN OF EASTERN IRON LIMITED

The B o ard of Eas t ern Iron L imited is p leased to announce that it ha s elected M r Steve Gemell as Chair m an of the Company . This follows the r e signation of the Company's previo u s Chairm a n, Mr Glen Good a cre whic h took ef f ect on 3 1 Octobe r 2012.

Mr Ge m ell is an in d ependent Director o f the Comp a ny and ha s been on t h e Board o f Eastern Iron Li m ited since January 20 1 0.

Mr Ge m ell is a c o nsulting m ining eng i neer with more tha n 30‐years’ experienc e in the mining industry, including senior o p erating r o les and e xecutive a nd non‐e x ecutive directo r ships in A S X listed an d unlisted m ining companies. Hi s experienc e includes r esource develo p ment, fea s ibility stud i es, mine p l anning an d operation over a ran g e of com m odities. Mr Ge m ell is currently a n o n‐executi v e Director of Argent Minerals Limited, Indochine Mining Limited a n d UCL Re s ources Li m ited and i s Chairma n of Gold e n Cross R e sources Limite d .
