Directorate changes

Verditek plc, (AIM: VDTK), the clean technology company, announces that Theo Chapman, Chief Executive Officer, has resigned to pursue other opportunities. Dr Geoff Nesbitt, Non-Executive Chairman, has been appointed Interim CEO.

The Board of Verditek would like to thank Theo for his contribution during the listing and in this first year of Verditek's growth.

Mr Theo Chapman commented: "It was a privilege to be part of the team that brought Verditek PLC onto AIM and I am pleased with what we have achieved. "

Dr Nesbitt, has been the Chairman of Verditek since its inception. He was the CTO of FTSE 250 group Petrofac. Prior to Petrofac, Dr Nesbitt's career was with Shell for over 20 years in a number of senior roles in the Middle East, India, the US, and Europe. His most recent assignments with Shell involved the management of commercially focused R&D centres in Europe and India. His proven leadership, commercial and entrepreneurial drive and intimate knowledge of Verditek will allow Geoff to step into the interim CEO role quickly and ensure Verditek drives forward.

Dr Nesbitt stated "When we set about creating Verditek we did so with the vision of building a leading clean technology company, which delivers game changing solutions for the sector. We believe with our initial three investments in solar, bio filtration and carbon capture, we are well placed to do this. Our recently announced joint venture with Paragraf demonstrates the commitment of the Board to pursue market defining opportunities."
