Cleansing Prospectus - Offer Closed
Eagle Mountain Mining Limited (ASX: EM2 ) (“ Eagle Mountain ” or “the Company ”) refers to its ASX announcement dated 13 May 2024 relating to the lodgement of a cleansing prospectus with the Australian Securities and Investment Commission for an offer of new options (the Offer ).
The Cleansing Prospectus offered a nominal number of New Options and was made for the purposes of removing secondary trading restrictions from the New Options, pursuant to section 708A(11) of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth).
This Offer has closed in accordance with the published timetable with NIL acceptances.
The Company had previously completed an entitlement offer and subsequent private placement, which included the issue of 87,908,059 attaching options to subscribe for fully paid ordinary shares in the Company ( Existing Options ), the ASX has approved quotation of the Existing Options. However, to ensure that the Existing Options issued pursuant to placement participants (which were not issued pursuant to a prospectus) are freely tradable, the Company requested trading be suspended.
Following lodgement of the Cleansing Prospectus and closure of that offer the Company has requested that ASX lift the suspension which had been placed on the trading of the Existing Options (EM2O).
