DXN Limited executes a two-phased contract worth up to AU$2.3million for a modular cable landing station
Highlights:

DXN executes an agreement with worth up to AU$2.3 million.

The agreement is for the design, build, shipment and installation of a complete prefabricated modular cable station in Mozambique.
Pursuant to the Agreement, DXN has been engaged to, firstly, design a modular cable station ( MCS ) for Speedcast’s Mozambique operations ( Phase 1 ) (valued at approximately AU$50,000).
Phase 2 consists of the factory build, shipping and installation of the MCS by DXN ( Phase 2 ) (valued at up to AU$2.25 million). DXN and Speedcast will proceed to Phase 2 subject to completion of Phase 1, mutual agreement between the Company and Speedcast in relation to a roll-out agreement for Phase 2 and Speedcast agreeing to terms with its customer for the supply and installation of the MCS.
In the event that Phase 1 and Phase 2 are completed, the total value of the Agreement to DXN is approximately AU$2.3 million.

This cable landing station is part of one of the top 10 Oil and Gas projects in 2020[1] , the undertaking itself being one of a series of major projects set to transform Africa’s natural gas industry over the next five years.”
Madden said, “During the course of the formal international evaluation, DXN was consistently able to prove that we have best-in-class designs and solutions that matched the requirements for this client. We were able to provide excellent references for previous projects in the Pacific region and are delighted that we will be supporting this very important endeavour.”
The Agreement is subject to standard termination provisions for a contract of this nature.
