UPDATE – SYDNEY DATA CENTRE (SYD01)
The Data Exchange Network Ltd ( DXN or the Company ) (ASX:DXN), is pleased to provide the following update on the construction of the Sydney Data Centre (SYD01).
The construction of SYD01 is progressing as planned. The civil works are now complete. The installation of the mechanical services is close to completion, the water storage tanks have been installed along with the evaporative cooling towers. The backup generators are in place and an extended ‘burn-in’ run is scheduled. The incoming telecommunications conduits for fibre services routing to our modules “Telco A” and “Telco B” have been completed. The DXN electrical team is progressing as per the schedule, the containment installation has been completed and all sub cabling has been laid. The photos in the following page provide visual depiction of the construction progress until last week.
Commissioning of all systems and plant is expected to commence in mid-July. The Company will provide further updates upon completion of system commissioning.
