DXN Limited signs second DXN Module contract with SES Networks

• Demonstrates DXN’s unique capability of delivering pre-fabricated edge data Centre modules to tier one clients across Australasia

• Additional contract value of approximately A$200,000

Pre-fabricated modular data centre specialist, DXN Limited (ASX:DXN), is pleased to announce it has signed a second contract with leading satellite operator SES Networks.

Matthew Madden, CEO DXN Limited, said that the contract was for a DXN Module to be located in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. “We are very pleased to be part of this important project to provide SES Networks with the bespoke infrastructure they require. This customised design will incorporate additional features for SES with a strong focus on safety, including three built-in satellite mounts, a walkway and safety barrier which will be incorporated into the standard ISO 40-foot DC module footprint.”

The prefabricated modular solution must have features that make it transportable and will feature a demountable satellite mounting frame as well as Precision split system air conditioning, fire detection and suppression and equipment racks to ensure it measures up to the stringent design and engineering requirements as defined by SES.

“The DXN engineering team has worked closely alongside SES again, demonstrating SES’s confidence in our solutions and as a delivery partner for their own client solutions. This is the second order from SES, which I think is a great endorsement of our previous project and delivery quality,” said Madden.

“We are pleased with the sales momentum in the prefabricated modular data centre sector in the Asia Pacific region and look forward to working with SES Networks into the future as they roll out their network across the globe,” Madden concluded.

The partnership is already underway and will be delivered over the next few months with deployment to be completed in 2019 again highlighting DXN’s rapid deployment focus. The additional contract value is approximately A$200,000 and the Agreement is subject to standard termination provisions for a contract of this nature.
