Opens new depot in Aberdeen
DX Group, a leading provider of delivery solutions, including parcel freight, secure courier, 2-Man, and logistics services, is pleased to announce the opening of a new depot in Aberdeen.
The new site, comprising a 4,000 sq. ft. facility, is located on J Badentoy Business Centre in Portlethen, and is a relocation of an existing depot to larger, much improved facilities.
This new depot adds capacity to the Group's Parcels operation, part of the DX Express division, which provides highly secure, tracked deliveries. The new depot will also improve operational efficiencies, reduce stem mileages, carbon emissions, and enhance customer service levels, a key focus for the Group. The DX Parcels operation remains a major area of growth for the Group and further capital investment is planned over the remainder of the year to support this.
Paul Ibbetson, Chief Executive Officer of DX Group, commented:
"The current financial year is a major year of investment across the Group. This latest depot opening in Aberdeen provides a much improved facility and significantly increases our capability in the area for our Parcels operations. It also delivers further efficiencies alongside environmental and customer service benefits.
"Enlarging and improving the depot network underpins the continued successful delivery of our growth plans over the short to medium term. We look forward to reporting on further openings over the coming months."

The Group operates through two divisions, DX Freight and DX Express.
· DX Freight comprises DX 1-Man, and Logistics/2-Man, with the Division being only one of a small number of operators that provides an overnight delivery service for irregular dimension and weight freight ("IDW").
· DX Express comprises DX Parcels and DX Exchange and Mail, with the Division specialising in the express delivery, including pre-9am, of parcels and documents.
