Dividends
During the year, the 2023 final dividend of 3 cents per share (fully franked) totalling $7,420,216 was paid on 9 October 2023. $6,681,957 was paid in cash with the remainder reinvested via the Duratec Dividend Reinvestment Plan.
The board resolved to pay a 2024 interim dividend of 1.5 cent per share (fully franked) totalling approximately $3,719,402 with a payment date of 7 May 2024. $3,268,107 of this total was paid in cash whilst the remainder was reinvested via the Duratec Dividend Reinvestment Plan.
Since the end of the reporting period, the Directors have declared a final dividend for 2024 of 2.5 cents per share (fully franked), to be paid on 9 October 2024. The ex-dividend date will be 17 September 2024 and the record date for determining entitlements to the dividend will be 18 September 2024.

Dividend Reinvestment Plan
The DRP is optional and offers ordinary shareholders in Australia and New Zealand the opportunity to acquire fully paid ordinary shares without transactions costs. Shares issued under the DRP will be derived from new issued ordinary shares. The shares will rank equally with other ordinary shares already on issue. The new shares will be issued at a price equal to the average of the daily volume weighted average market price of Duratec Ltd shares sold in the ordinary course of trading on the ASX over a period of 10 trading days beginning on the day after the relevant dividend record date, discounted by 5%, rounded to 4 decimal places. The last date for the receipt of an election notice for participation in the DRP in relation to the final 2024 dividend is 19 September 2024.

On 29 January 2024, Duratec Limited obtained control over the business of A&B Welding Pty Ltd. A&B Welding Pty Ltd provides fabrication & welding, labour hire, maintenance and other specialised services.
