1.       Unaudited net asset value per share

The unaudited net asset value per share at 31 March 2023 was 627.0p. This is stated before payment of a final dividend of 25p per share payable on 19 May.  This compares to the net asset value per share of 627.1p as at 31 December 2022.  

2.       Share price

The share price has increased by from 509p to 562.5p in the quarter to 31 March 2023. The share price total return for the quarter to 31 March 2023 was 10.5%.  This compares to a decrease in the FTSE Small Cap Index of 1.6% over the same period.   The discount to net asset value at 31 March 2023 was 10.3%.

4.       Net asset value movements

The portfolio of investments has been re-valued at 31 March 2023. There were no significant valuation movements in the quarter.

5.       Cash and Commitments

Dunedin Enterprise had cash and near cash balances of £13.2m at 31 March 2023.  Outstanding capital commitments to limited partnership funds are £9.6m.

6.         Dividend

A final dividend of 25.0p per share will be paid to shareholders on 19 May 2023.
